“Researching British Parish Records,” presented by Hal Horrocks.

Many of our ancestors have roots in Britain. This program is designed to help in identifying, accessing and interpreting British parish records to aid in our research.

Hal Horrocks

Hal Horrocks

Hal is a professional genealogist, teacher, and lecturer. He has been doing family research for 12 years and is a member of the Southern California Chapter – Association of Professional Genealogists (SCCAPG), Genealogical Speakers Guild (GSG). He is currently the Vice President of the Orange County Genealogical Society in charge of Programs. He also teaches the Intermediate/Advanced class each month.

Hal also created and maintains a website for Horrocks genealogy researchers from around the world. The website includes a One-Name-Study, a DNA surname study, and contributed research from other Horrocks researchers. He has extracted all the Horrocks listings from all the US and British census and made them available for interested researchers.
