Computer Genealogy Group Meeting (CoGG)

Today’s Topic: Keeping Options Open; How to survive genealogy programs major changes with emphasis on Family Tree Maker.
Dorothy Miller has been a member of NSDCGS since 1999. She most recently served as membership chair, after having held the office of Vice-President and President. Her spare time is taken up with her family, which includes nine grandchildren; traveling, dancing and friends.
Prior to retirement, Dorothy was Associate Dean of Engineering at California State University, Northridge. She had served as Interim Dean, Chair of the Computer Science Department and Professor of Computer Science. Let’s not forget those ten years of teaching high school math! Her academic credentials include a BA in Math, MA in Math Education, MS and PhD in Computer Science.
About CoGG: This is a special interest group of the NSDCGS. CoGG programs focus on computer and internet issues, research and tools, relating to Genealogy. The CoGG speakers will enhance our computer experience in finding our families and piecing together their lives. Open to all levels of computer/genealogy experience.
