Focus On

September 19 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Focus On Microforms. Please note venue change.
The Cole Library’s genealogy collection is one of the largest in California—largely due to the vast collection of microfilm and microfiche located upstairs. Learn about the genealogy resources available in microform and how to use the new digital microform scanner.

Class will be held upstairs at Cole Library..

Twice a month the Genealogy and Carlsbad History Division offers small group classes to Focus On an aspect of genealogical research. Each month’s class is repeated on two separate dates. The classes cover materials in Georgina Cole Library’s collection, online resources, research strategies and new technology. Focus On classes are held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Computer Lab at the Carlsbad City Library Learning Center, unless otherwise noted.

Advance registration is required as seating is limited. To sign up, please contact the Genealogy and Carlsbad History Desk, 760-434-2931.
