Each year, NSDCGS sponsors a week-long research trip to Salt Lake City. This trip is open to the public and no reservations (except travel and hotel costs, which are the responsibility of the traveler) are required to join.

In preparation for a research trip to Salt Lake City and the FamilySearch Library on April 14-20, 2024, NSDCGS is offering SLC Preparation Classes. Whether you are going to SLC for the first time or are a seasoned researcher, whether you plan to go with the group in April or plan to go on your own at another time, join us at these free classes.

We have rooms reserved at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel at Temple Square, next to the FamilySearch Library. To make reservations, contact Rich Williams at 801-606-2410 and mention you are with North San Diego County Genealogical Society.
Lodging:
Each room has two queen beds; the deluxe room is slightly larger, has a city view, an extra work desk, and another vanity outside of the bathroom. Cost is $100/night for a standard room and $110/night for a deluxe room. More information to follow.
